Today I’m Gonna Try and Change the World

retraction: I realized I am not sure if it’s a job interview or a volunteer position…

I open today’s post with the title (the title of this post) of one of Johnny Reid’s songs. This song was one I was introduced to yesterday at my church.

It was used in a service that was used to support The Charter of Compassion. I love this song as it speaks of global peace and camaraderie. I am blogging about it here because in the next few days I hope to see an increase in my blog posts. I will make no promises though, this next week is going to be hectic to say the least, Tuesday I have an appointment and then a shopping date with some friends. Wednesday I volunteer, and then I head out early for a job interview and then stay late at said location to attend a workshop that I have been partaking in for a few weeks now about photography. Yes I said job interview please send positive thoughts my way as this is the first interview that I have had in a year and a day since losing my job.

About lifeofthedifferentlyabled

Laura Forde founded her blog through my eyes: my life with cerebral palsy in December 2009 out of a great need she had, realizing that there was a vast gap in firsthand accounts of what life was like living with Cerebral Palsy: she knew then that the only way to see this reflected online was to create the change herself and thus this blog was born Laura was born four months premature, weighing a mere one pound three ounces and given ten percent odds for survival. She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of three. After graduating from college, she continued writing and doing what she loves to do most; speaking to groups about her life experiences and sharing what she has learned from her journey. Her blog lifeofthedifferentlyabled was created after discovering that the online community lacked the voice of people in her situation. In its first year, the site saw over 20,000 hits from all over the world. Her readers are from all walks of life; some with disabilities, parents of children, professionals, and others who seek to gain a better understanding of the world of the differently abled. The Charter of Compassion is in my “Essential Websites” bookmarks and was one of the first I put there back in November 2008.

Positive thoughts for you and all your activities.

    Have a great photography workshop.
