Hello everyone, sorry I missed Monday’s post, I am okay, we just got Netflix. I know that is no excuse for missing out on writing Monday’s post but since last Friday I have watched something like 20 movies.

Netflix Canada – Benefits For Me
As a person with a disability perhaps one of the most annoying things about life with physical limitations is the fact that I don’t drive. This means that there is little room for spontaneity, that’s one thing I like about Netflix I literally can stream what I want and when I want it. A virtual movie store, YES!
Another reason I like it is because it has a lot of recent movies, maybe not the newest releases right away but there pretty current nonetheless.

The Recommendations System
So far Netflix recommendations system has been pretty accurate in judging my tastes. Although I cannot comment on what factors they look for, I know that my ratings out of five on the movies and shows I have seen to date, help Netflix in the choice of what I may like in future.

Why My Dad Is Undecided About Netflix
My dad like me is on the free month trial but he is still undecided if he is going to keep it.
He doesn’t like that they don’t just show you a complete list of what they have to offer. I feel I have to agree sometimes the category thing gets annoying. If they would just have the option, so you could see first in its entirety what’s available to you it would save time searching
Also Netflix has some but not a lot of old titles it does definitely appeal to someone that likes newer movies and TV shows though but I would hazard a guess to say this would be frustrating to some.

So I am back in the blogosphere and still watching movies too. Do you use Netflix? Do you like it, why or why not?

Laura Forde founded her blog through my eyes: my life with cerebral palsy in December 2009 out of a great need she had, realizing that there was a vast gap in firsthand accounts of what life was like living with Cerebral Palsy: she knew then that the only way to see this reflected online was to create the change herself and thus this blog was born Laura was born four months premature, weighing a mere one pound three ounces and given ten percent odds for survival. She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of three. After graduating from college, she continued writing and doing what she loves to do most; speaking to groups about her life experiences and sharing what she has learned from her journey. Her blog lifeofthedifferentlyabled was created after discovering that the online community lacked the voice of people in her situation. In its first year, the site saw over 20,000 hits from all over the world.
