Does anyone know if there is a counter top oven that allows you to bake cakes? My roommate is considering buying the Cricut Cake Machine, which would allow her to decorate cakes.
The problem is that we can’t reach our oven (not an accessible kitchen) we use our toaster oven regularly but I don’t think you can bake a cake in them because the elements are too close to the rack. Anyone have any thoughts on the subject? Any input would be greatly appreciated!
You can bake a cake in a toaster oven, but it may take a few tries to figure out the right time/heat combo. I used to bake muffin bread in mine in a loaf pan. I would set it for… I dunno, 350 (the recipe called for 425 I think) and then just bake it longer.
Good luck!
THANKS SHASTA you’re AWESOME

Hey Laura,
I have a Bravetti convection toaster oven with rotisserie unit. I use it all the time but I have not used it to bake cakes. I am sure you could bake a cake in it. I cook rotisserie chicken at temperature 375 for 1 hour. Here is the link to the Bravetti convection toaster oven with rotisserie (this is a newer model then what I have): http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/8/KitchenBath/2/Appliances/ToasterOvens/PRDOVR~0430856P/Bravetti+6-slice+Convection+Toaster+Oven.jsp?locale=en
Thanks Rosie how are you

How are you doing?
