Drogan for Blogging

Hello, I just got back from the mall with my new microphone and am testing by writing this blog post. I enjoy writing by voice, because it allows my brain to keep up with my thought processes and eliminates the need to read what I write.

This is ideal because I just keep talking and it is transcribed into text on the screen. This microphone is cheap by comparison to some of them I’ve had in the past but I like it because it is comfortable and reasonably small meaning I’m forgetting I have it on my head. I however kept the cord at as short as possible in length; this is because I have broken a few in the past by rolling over them.
I don’t know what I used to do without the software, especially when it came to blog posts because writing this out would take me a lot longer than it is to speak out. I don’t always write my blog posts using Dragon; this is purely because I am concerned that my readers will get bored with my conversational ramblings. However, if you like this style of post better please do let me know that the comments. I welcome any feedback about what you thought about this post being dictated.
I think I am going to soon start a series, answering reader questions I’m getting a lot of them lately. So stay tuned!
I hope you enjoyed this article – whether you agree with everything or not, send me your comments. opinions, suggestions and experiences – your input is very welcomed and much appreciated!

About lifeofthedifferentlyabled

Laura Forde founded her blog through my eyes: my life with cerebral palsy in December 2009 out of a great need she had, realizing that there was a vast gap in firsthand accounts of what life was like living with Cerebral Palsy: she knew then that the only way to see this reflected online was to create the change herself and thus this blog was born Laura was born four months premature, weighing a mere one pound three ounces and given ten percent odds for survival. She was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of three. After graduating from college, she continued writing and doing what she loves to do most; speaking to groups about her life experiences and sharing what she has learned from her journey. Her blog lifeofthedifferentlyabled was created after discovering that the online community lacked the voice of people in her situation. In its first year, the site saw over 20,000 hits from all over the world. Her readers are from all walks of life; some with disabilities, parents of children, professionals, and others who seek to gain a better understanding of the world of the differently abled. Hey Laura,

I use Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10.0v and I use NaturalReader 9. NaturalReader 9 is software if you are reading on the internet and lettering can be small at time you can just click a button and it will read right from the internet to you. Also you can copy and past right into the software and put it into mp3 format.

Here is a website on NaturalReader 9:
